About TSText™
TSText arose from the desire to make all aspects of text creation and modification simpler, easier and therefore more productive. TSText provides a set of text and annotation commands that significantly improve upon standard AutoCAD commands. For example:
With TSTEXT (Create Text) command, creating text is done in real time just like AutoCAD's
DTEXT command, but in addition...
- TSTEXT will produce multiline text (MTEXT), if user types more then one line of text.
- TSTEXT does not prompt for height and rotation angle, just point and start typing.
- All text parameters are viewed and easily changed "on-the-fly" with a single dialog box.
- Instantly modify or update text objects to match current text parameters or another text object.
- Save your most used style/size/layer combinations and instantly return to them at any time, in any drawing.
The TSTEDIT (Edit Text) command does everything AutoCAD's DDEDIT does, but in addition...
- TSTEDIT will edit block attributes; includes functionality of AutoCAD's DDATTE command.
- TSTEDIT's text-edit window automatically expands to display more of the text string.
- When editing standard TEXT objects, user can instantly switch to multiline text editing to add additional lines of text.
- Multiple TEXT and/or MTEXT objects can be combined and edited as a single MTEXT object.
- When editing MTEXT associated with a leader, TSTEDIT will not move leader attach point causing leader to contort. Also, MTEXT will be realigned automatically to maintain proper positioning of MTEXT relative to LEADER.
