FREE Tools and Utilities for AutoCAD
Rot2ent.zip
Command for rotating selected objects relative to a specific angle or to match the angle of an existing object. If you've ever wished for an easy way to rotate THIS object to THAT angle, try this.
Snapline.zip
Changes cross-hair rotation (SNAPANG) to match selected segment. User can match angle of any line, lwpolyline, polyline, leader, xline or dimension - even if nested in block or xref.
Oval.zip
Routine for constructing a polyline oval.
DimCL.zip
Modifies linetype of dimension extension lines; something AutoCAD still can't do! Produces a centerline by default, but any linetype can be specified. One pick instantly changes all extension lines sharing same origin point.
Chop.zip
Popular and gets used! With just three points, this command will trim multiple objects at a temporary line. No need to draw a line, perform TRIM Fence command, then erase the line. Includes options for Extend and for chopping with a Window (trimming objects inside the window).
Freehand.zip
Makes drawing look as if it were drawn freehand. Introduces a slight wiggle to line work and a slight overlap at line intersections. Degree of overlap and wiggle can be adjusted independently.
Dwgscale.zip
Provides a dialog for setting drawing scale factor. An array of standard Architect, Engineer and Decimal scales are displayed, upon selecting one, user then confirms it's relative scale factor. Sets variables DIMSCALE and LTSCALE; easily changed to suit.
DblBttns.zip
Developed this for myself! Programs mouse buttons to both return designated snap points when command is active, and start LINE and DIST commands when no command is active. Eight commands available with three button mouse!
DDChpMod.zip
AutoCAD R14's DDCHPROP.LSP and DDMODIFY.LSP revised so user can specify linetypes that are not loaded. Any valid linetype per ACAD.LIN can now be entered and will automatically load!
Find.zip
AutoCAD R14's bonus utility FIND.LSP (find and replace text) revised to support MTEXT. Also brackets "[ ]" replace-string rather than highlighting whole object.
